Removing a mature tree is dangerous work. A 60-foot silver maple sitting six feet from your roofline has tens of thousands of pounds of wood under tension. We bring the rigging, the climbers, and the right equipment to take it down in pieces — without dropping it through your fence, your neighbor's siding, or the gas line running to your house.
What we do
- Complete removal of dead, dying, or storm-damaged trees
- Tight-quarters removals near roofs, fences, and power lines
- Crane-assisted removal for oversized hardwoods
- Hazard tree assessment and emergency take-downs
- Full debris haul-away and site cleanup
- Optional stump grinding at the same visit (discounted bundle)
How it works
Free on-site estimate
We come out, walk the property, and give you a flat written quote — not a range, not a phone guess. Usually within 24-48 hours of your call.
Permits & utility marking
If your removal is in the right-of-way or near overhead lines, we coordinate with the city of Omaha and 811. You don't make a single phone call.
Removal day
A certified climber and ground crew show up with bucket truck or crane as needed. Most residential removals wrap in a single day.
Cleanup
We chip the brush, haul the wood (or stack rounds for firewood if you want them), and rake the lawn. You shouldn't be able to tell we were there besides the missing tree.
When to call us
- Large dead branches, peeling bark, or fungal growth at the base
- The tree is leaning more than it used to, especially after a storm
- Roots are lifting your driveway, foundation, or sewer line
- Hollow trunk or visible cavities at the base
- Storm split the canopy or snapped major limbs
- Emerald ash borer confirmed (most untreated ash in Omaha won't survive)
Frequently asked
How much does tree removal cost in Omaha?
Most residential removals run $350 to $2,500. Small trees under 30 feet are typically $350-650, mid-size trees $700-1,400, and large hardwoods over 60 feet $1,500-2,500+. Tight access, power lines, or crane work add cost. We give flat written quotes, not phone estimates.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — fully licensed in Nebraska and Iowa, $2M general liability, workers' comp on every crew member. We carry certificates of insurance and will send them directly to you or your HOA before the job.
Do you haul away the wood?
Yes. Hauling, chipping, and disposal are included in every quote. If you want the wood split into firewood and stacked, we can do that for a small added fee.
How fast can you get out here?
Standard removals: 5-10 days. Hazard removals (leaning over the house, blocking a driveway): same or next day. Active emergencies (tree on the house, blocking the road): same-day, day or night.
